Weineke Named to Jerry Rice Award Watch List

Jake Weineke has been named to the initial 20 man watch list for the Jerry Rice Award. This award goes out to the best freshman in FCS football. Previous finalists for SDSU include Sumner and Lalley. This season, Weineke has compiled 338 yards on 19 receptions and three touchdowns. He also has one carry for 52 yards.
