  • Ticket Fiasco for Cal Poly Game

Did anyone else experience difficulties purchasing tickets for the Cal Poly. I needed to add one extra ticket to our season tickets and went to the temporary ticket booth. Lines were long and people working ticket booth slow and lacking sense of urgency. Could not take a debit card so had to hike over to Frost and then they ran out of tickets so had to manually print new ones that caused several to miss kick-off. Their was a will call station that nobody was at and that person seemed incapable of taking next line for purchasing. Also student ticket line into the stadium seemed long and slow. Don't normally have to purchase tickets so haven't had to go through that process, but what a nightmare as seemed we were not prepared for first game along with the new construction causing some issues. Hope they have together prior to next game as a lot of frustrated people.

Luckily I didn't have to purchase tickets. It sounds like a disaster. If I were you, I would email your thoughts to Christi.Williams@sdstate.edu

Not ticket related, but right before half I went to concessions with the intention of buying a walking taco, peanuts, popcorn, and a soda. I left with a hotdog and a soda because they were out of taco meat, peanuts, and popcorn (they were popping more). Pretty disappointing.

They were out of popcorn on the eastside at halftime. A lady next to my group stood in line for most of the third quarter just to be told they were out of pretzels when she got to the front. A lot of people around us didn't even try to go get food at halftime because of poor prior experiences. In two years hopefully this isn't a problem!

thats why before or after every game we get Zestos. Well, my son loves ice cream and it takes it most of a quarter to eat it so thats about all we ever get at games anymore. Thats maybe a little annoyance of ours, not always a lot of ice cream options available considering how many good ones SDSU makes. Not a major issue obviously but would like more then cookies and cream or butter brickle Not worth it to get other stuff at the current stadium for food or snacks.
