One has to wonder why Farley and crew pulled the guy's scholarship offer. I didn't read that as the guy got his commitment in so late that somebody else already filled the slot they had for him

I wonder if there was talk about positions and him expressing really wanting to be a RB. Perhaps UNI only wanted him on D, and thought better to rescind the offer than have an unhappy player. If so kudos to them because they gave the young man time to look and find another home.

I like what what I hear about the staff and many coaches talking to him. Much more personal and as he stated family like.

I can see as one poster mentioned a thunder and lightening package.

"One of the biggest head scratchers during the recruiting process is how this kid doesn’t have a Division I offer. South Dakota State, he said, pulled out. Burke is hoping for New Mexico State to come through. He can play various positions. He was an All-Arizona defensive back in his first season as a full-time starter in the secondary. He had an impressive showing, playing receiver in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Carson, Calif."
