Love his hudl pic, looks like he plays with a high motor. His wingspan must be close to 7 foot. Very excited to see him.

Ok, stupid question time...so be gentle with me. When programs get 'surprise' loi's, how does that affect scholarship money going forward if you've already allotted your money to the expected signees?

Surprise to whom? I am guessing the coaches are not surprised and have allotted money accordingly.

It's a surprise to the fans and media, not the coaches. It was a verbal that hadn't been made public yet, that's all.

Anyone else notice that when he plays DE on his HS team that they line him up off of the line, about a yard deep? I wonder if they did that so that he would not over pursue from the edge. He seems like he has a never ending motor and when he makes contact, the play is over. Very physical for his size!


He had some very major offers - Cincinnati, Iowa State, Purdue, and South Alabama.

I hope Christian doesn't get too down about our weather. It was over 70 degrees in Cape Corals when he signed. The temp in Brookings was a little south of that at the same time.
