    Re: UNI

Jacks need to finish this season going 1-0 for the remaining games. An 8-4, second or third place team in the toughest FCS conference will make the expanded play-offs.

Jacks, Yotes, Panthers are ALL scrambling for effectively 1 spot. Bison and Penguins are locks to make the play-offs. WIU, IL St, In St, Mo St are already out. All 3 teams will be out with 5 losses.

SIU is essentialy out as well. One of their wins was Div II team. So if they win out they will be 7-4 against Div I teams.

Yep, forgot SIU. Agree that they can't lose again and make the play-offs. UNI has the best OOC results, but SIU is done playing the pre-season top picks. Need to sweep the pre-season cellar choices, and have a few others, like SDSU & UNI finish well.

SDSU would really benefit by having SELA win the Southland.

DII wins count this year though right? I wonder if they will carry a stigma with the selection committee.

Yes, it counts but from this article is looks like playing a Div II team is weighted different in the SRS equation.

SIU's QB Faulkner broke a finger on his throwing hand on Saturday and is out at least 4 weeks.

Yes, a D-II game "counts", however, it's considered "less than a full win", just like winning an FBS game is more than a FCS win. And a loss to a below FCS program is a real nasty situation.

With the Pioneer league now participating in the FCS play-offs, those schools have a higher interest in playing other FCS teams.

Looks like the Jacks are going to be wearing the all yellow uniforms and selling gold shirts for pediatric cancer awareness this weekend. Time to get back on track with a W!!!

Cole Langer to start at DT this week. Parker, Schoff, and Dom Wright are among the injured. Hopefully there is 10K+ fans to encourage the Jackrabbits to salvage this season.

Those are tough injuries, not sure how i will like the looks of all yellow unis, but its for a worthy cause so thats good to support stuff like that. I would love to see over 10K but IMO 8-10K would be a good turn out and probably a bit high. sadly it should be in a huge game like this 12-14K. After how we played last week I really am having a hard time seeing us getting the win, but i sure hope the jacks prove me wrong. I just feel like Farley sort of has our number and its a team we struggle with.

Meh, not crazy about the yellow unis, but its for a cause. I wanted yellow jerseys but now not so sure, we look too much like the McNeese Cowboys who are having a good season but lost to UNI.

Maybe they will be ready and who knows but different uniform combination and styles just seems gimmicky to me. Blue Jerseys with yellow numbers and pants will always be the sharpest look, but for a cause i suppose i can be cool with it. didnt we use to have a shriners game for a number of years? or does that still happen some years?

I'm with Goon here. My official prediction: 9,237. As usual, I think the fair weather fans have already given up on this team completely and would rather spend one of the last remaining days before the snow is here to stay doing something else.
