It's hard to understate the impact of that interception. SIU was about to finish off their third consecutive big offensive drive and take a lead into halftime. Quite a swing.

The defense is going to have to get a couple of stops in the second half. I don't think we can count on the offense to keep converting those 3rd and longs.

That was a huge 14 point swing. Our defense seems to regressing to pre NDSU .

Following on ESPN game tracker. Was going to ask about the Jacks defense and then they get the INT. Why is SIU throwing so much on this field?

If you have a decent QB, i would through 50 times a game against our secondary.

Speaking of throwing against our secondary, SIU hits a 59 yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 17-17. Ugh.

We keep talking about how a special teams mistake is going to cost us a game. Is our blocked FG that mistake? We have yet to force SIU to punt, so obviously we are going to need every point we can get. The blocked FG is currently the difference in the score.
