The only scholarship player was Mason Leiseth, who scored a touchdown and looks like he could be a force in time for the Jacks on the defensive line. For the preferred walkons:
Tanner Lambert - had some nice runs in short yardage situations.
Case Wiarda - had a nice touchdown catch to start the game, showed good speed.
Mitchell Nissen - had some nice catches, seems to run well and have good hands.
Troy Hunhoff - only got a few snaps before being dinged up.
Thayer Trenhaile - very fast and accurate on punt snaps and equally strong on PATs as Marso converted on all & the only field goal attempt of the game.
Should be a fun group to watch in time. Also Kellen Soulek from Yankton is reportedly going to walk on at SDSU and had some very impressive plays.
