I had worked with his mom at the time sdsu was recruiting him and he seemd like an sdsu guy all the way. She was worried about being a walk on and turning down scholarship money. I let her know that sdsu has a history of walks ons getting scollies once they prove themselves. If I remember corecctly it was putting caslte in at center and moving mcknight over a position during the nebraska game which helped to the point we should have at least been tied with them. Sorry I am still bitter about those tds not getting called.
