I was at the game. Our guys played a much better game than what I had expected out of them. Our defense shined at times. JaRon Butler interception was big. On Bison Talk after the game, they thought their player that hung on to Butler's Jersey may have saved the game. The Bison Offense is not working very well right now. Seems like the Bison fans yearn for the same display in the early games of the season, where the competition was not the same as today. The Bison defense is awesome, but we managed to keep the passes away from Marcus Williams. If our offense had managed to capitalize on the turnovers with out a doubt we would have won the game. If the the Bison expect a repeat in Frisco Texas, they are going to have to improve a great deal offensively. How much more can the defense carry the team. If there is a weakness in their progam, its the offense.

I used some one tickets today who happens to be a Bison season ticket holder. Their enthusiasm is unreal. We can learn much from them.

Its not the opinions that piss me off. Its the people that THINK they are experts at coaching that piss me off. And the ones who call the coaches idiots when they have no experience at coaching. They have no clue

Well, you are entitled to your opinion. I shared mine. I wish we would have given ZZ some more touches. If you don't want to read other fans' opinions, what the hell is the point of coming to a message board.

Were we moving the ball on the ground in the first half? Thats what really pisses me off about these forums. People who think they know more than the coaches. Whether its football or basketball. They have no experience at coaching, never coached a day in their life but seem to think they are the experts. The poster who called Stig an idiot last week, well, as far as im concerned, he is a ****ing moron. Just because you watch football all weekend or played football, doesnt mean youre an expert coach. And i have no clue who on this forum has coaching experience. Let the coaches coach and the players play. They may be considered adults but they still make mistakes. **** like that happens on Sunday too. Those pros **** up too now and then. Win next week and we're in the playoff. Maybe thats not good enough. 7-3 and reading the forum all year, youd think we hadnt won a game all year.

To be blunt, we are all tired of being NDSU's bi**h, which is why the frustration abounds. We want to be where they are consistently.

We completely abandoned the run in the second half. Not saying we would have been effective, but we only gave ZZ the ball about 3 times the whole second half. That's really questionable to me. Oh, also don't have 12 men on the field after a fricken TO. Just unreal. It was tough seeing the players after the game. I can't imagine the feelings they have after that game.

Offensively didn't play that well. Defense was solid. Get a win this next weekend. Just not sure exactly from tv today if the receivers were having a hard time getting open as I think we take too many sacks. I don't think we are throwing down the field enough but I have that before........let's get 8 wins and then see what happens!!! I just saw the forecast and if it holds up, 52 for a high!!

The offense needs to play with the sense of urgency for the entire game that they show in the last 3 minutes of each half. It's amazing that the defense holds up as well as they do considering the amount of time they are on the field.

Your correct. Our defense made some serious mistakes but they really kept us in the game. Time of possesion I would think leaned heavily towards the Bison. The big penalties really stand out but our defense was strong the majority of the game.

Move on and get that 8 th win next week and than the playoffs.

I'm still kind of in shock about the mental errors that last defensive possession.

Kinda a bummer of a weekend for Jacksrabbit athletics.


Hopefully we show up focused next weekend. It is the yotes Super Bowl.

We can still salvage a win this week end,tomorrow 11:30, Jacks WBB vs Wash. St........Go Jacks!
