Sumner, Lally 10/27 MVFC HONORS

Austin Sumner named the MVFC Offensive Player of the week in the aftermath of the Youngstown win. Linebacker TJ Lally, a redshirt freshman, was once again recognized as the Newcomer of the Week in the MVFC (its the third such award this season).

Keep an eye on Lally...what a motor!

Not to take anything away from Lally, but Chris Tracy knew what play YSU was running and told Lally prior to his interception. You could see Tracy tell Lally what they were going to do if the WRs crossed. Lally might have known as well, but great preparation by those two and the coaches.

He still needed to make the play and he did. He's going to be a really good one for State.
