    Bleh.

    Pending fabulous 2nd half adjustments, this game is playing out as I feared it might.

      Our offense is terribly out of sync. Just stupid self-inflicted mistakes. Penalties, drops, etc.

        I'm afraid we are going to need at least two of the following or this is going to be an easy UNI win:

        1. Zenner TD run of 60+.
        2. Defensive TD.
        3. Special teams TD.

        Hopefully I am wrong and we'll see shades of the 2011 passing game suddenly emerge.

          I just don't get why we're dropping so many back to block in a situation where there is little to no chance for a return.

          Punt return game has been an embarrassment all year.

            Seems to me we went into the half behind in most of the games we won last year...not sure that is exactly right but that's my recollection. But we adjusted and won.

            Field goal by UNI, its now UNI 17 SDSU 3

              Yeah this is not going well. Can't get it on the radio in omaha plus visiting husker fans we have to watch neb struggle at northwestern.

                    At least we scratched out that field goal. That was do-or-die. There's definitely still a chance, but it's going to take a lot more than Zenner, Zenner, Zenner. We knew this would be coming eventually as the schedule got more difficult. Now's the time to find out what this team is really made of.

                        Sumner has hit the receivers but the receivers have had some drops.

                        Zenner 78 yards in 14 carries.

                            I think Zenner is just warming up. I look for a big second half from him. They have 9 guys in the box on D. There are ways of exploiting that and if our staff did not work on that this week, they are not doing their job which is not the case here. Look forward to a great second half.

                              SDSU was ahead at half in four of five victories last year. Only trailed Mo. State.
