Another good feature on KELO TV tonight: Zach Zenner's "historic" start to the season.

Right now -- no contest: Zenner is the most exciting football player in the region. That should have a positive impact on the crowd size for Saturday's home opener.

Last year he showed his potential. But with the offensive line woes last year, he was really doing it on his own. This year, the offensive line has been dominant (even without those two injured starters). Once Parker and Fick are back in the rotation, I think the line could be even better. So Zenner could be in for a really, really special year.

Zach is a also a really fine person. He was my son's 2nd grade Spanish teacher at Medary Elementary School last year.
