Re: The Piece of History We All Witnessed This Past Saturday!!!
Nice. I bet that quieted the crowd down in a hurry! Stig laughed (on Jackrabbit Insider) about how he had always said that "Zenner is not going to outrun anyone". I guess he's a lot faster than he looked.

Thanks for posting. Nice block. Nice cut and speed running. Minnet wouldn't have been able to do that. Bob dobbs or what ever his name in the comment section needs to wise up.

Re: The Piece of History We All Witnessed This Past Saturday!!!
Wow, what a play. Didn't think Zenner was THAT fast until watching. I agree, I don't think Minnet would have been able to do that, he was more of a grinder who didn't break the really long runs. If Zenner has a break out year, every other team needs to watch out with Sumner and Zenner in the backfield. Anybody else wonder at first why they went to the shotgun in the endzone? The end result was great! What a call and what a play by the OL and ZZ.
Re: The Piece of History We All Witnessed This Past Saturday!!!
That play was perfectly timed by Daughters to hit the guy at the same time Zenner zoomed by him.Zenner then had enough speed to zoom by the last guy to beat, then he won the footrace. This is why execution is so important on each and every play. One thing not executed right = Fail.Good job by the whole offensive team on that play.(also,it didn't hurt that the defensive guys were in position right where they were for the play to work for a TD,otherwise,it might have been just a good gainer)
Re: The Piece of History We All Witnessed This Past Saturday!!!
Start the video and then pause it when Daughters gets his block, what do you see to the left of Zenner but a WALL of good guy blockers holding back a sea KU defenders.WOW . Couldn't have been drawn up as nice on a chalk board.Zenner chose the absolute best line he could to run to the end zone, didn't give the chaser any angle what so ever to work with.
