Offers from Nebraska and Iowa. BigGoosie is right on.

I really like this Sheard kid from Nebraska; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M554v4EXLeY. He does a nice job finding soft spots in zone coverage and immediately turns up field after the reception. He catches the ball with his hands and is tough, showing the ability to hold onto the ball after a big hit. Sheard is a very smooth route-runner with sharp moves in/out of his breaks and good field awareness. He uses his body movements to sell routes and makes plays at all levels of the field. He is also a hell of a track athlete leading the state in triple jump by over 2 feet with a jump of 47'-6" and is 3rd in the high jump at 6'7".

That you, Bryce? Make sure the coaches get the video link -- I don't think they do a lot of recruiting on the message boards.

No not Bryce, just a Omaha sports fan that like to see local kids go on to do big things. I have just recently met his father though, says that SDSU is already looking at his son...

You should also look out for Zach Martin, QB out of Omaha North. This kid is a natural leader, with a big arm and a great football sense. I just saw him at a track meet and he is every bit of 6’3” with a very nice frame. I have watched him play several times. This kid is legit. There is a pair out of Omaha Millard North in Nick DeLuca (LB) and Nick Marchese (DE). I believe that DeLuca is the best LB in this class in the state of Nebraska outside of Banderas of LSW who Nebraska has already offered. To be honest, I believe DeLuca has a better nose for the football and he brings a level of intensity and open field tackling that would be a nice addition at SDSU. Freeman Coleman, DL out of Millard South. This kid is massive and aggressive. Just a stud. Not much more to say. He is not blockable with one OL.

Seems slow off the line, once he hits his stride,he's plenty fast though

                            Re: 2013 Recruiting List

Jackson Gannon, a defensive lineman from Kearney, NE is getting serious looks from the staff. Gannon is 6'2" - 245 lb. and will be returning for his 3rd year starting for the Bearcats. Kearney HS competes in Nebraska's largest class and he routinely plays against some of the best linemen in Nebraska. This footage is against Dylan Utter from Papillion-LaVista, a 2nd team Super State lineman who will be suiting up for the Huskers this year.

I confirmed the interest with the Rabbits in a conversation with him last night. My son is one of his best friends and he has been pushing him to consider SDSU for a couple of years.

Gannon comes from an athletic family, albeit a dad and brother who were sprinters. His dad was a 6'2" WR for Kearney State College and was clocked at 4.4 in the 40 during his college years. His brother, EJ, excelled at multiple sports in high school and college. As a hurdler in high school, Niles Paul - former Husker WR, was the only high schooler to beat him. EJ signed as a pitcher for UNK, but switched to track after tearing up his shoulder. Jackson has a non-stop motor, who plays with good leverage and speed for an interior lineman. Very high moral kid who will cause no problems off the field. In fact, Bubak's brother's involvement with FCA in Nebraska is a key reason Jackson is interested in the coaching staff.

He is also getting consideration from colleges for track. He was one of the top returning throwers in Class A, but was limited to two meets do to an injury. He was hoping to push Mike Shoff for the All-Class Gold in the shot put this season. Shoff was Nebraska's top thrower this year.

I don't know if we are recruiting him, or much about 11B ball in general, but here is an interesting story from the Rapid City Journal about the St. Thomas Moore QB Jake Sullivan...... http://rapidcityjournal.com/sports/h...a4bcf887a.html

Just a quick note.....Nate Gerry is now up to 3 Stars on scout http://nebraska.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=8&c=1&nid=6237090 , And also has 3 Stars on 247sports http://247sports.com/Player/Nathan-Gerry-20116 ....I fully expect him to be a high 3 Star or 4 star player on scout, rivals, espn, and 247 by the end of the summer. He already blew up a camp in Lincoln, and he is getting ready for another camp here soon.

SFW has a player starting at Center for Iowa State, a redshirt Frosh at Oklahoma, a starting safety for Montana, and soon to be Mr. Gerry.....these are players just off the top head. They also have Gebhart at NDSU, Aware and Mohr here at SDSU, Marlette and McMartin at USD plus 2 more recruits going their also. They are really shooting out the players here recently.
