I watched the BV and Roosie playoff game last year and came a way very impressed with Matt Vandeberg....he was easily the fastest kid on the field that game. Bryan brought up Nate Gerry earlier in this thread.....if he doesn't go to a FBS team, he is a must get for us. He is going to be the top South Dakota recruit this year.

The neighbor kid told me that Matt Vandeberg from BV ran an electronic 4.5 forty yesterday at track. I've watched Matt play WR and DB a lot the last few years. At 6'2", Matt would look good in blue and yellow.

To my untrained eye, that kid has BCS caliber quickness and speed. He's only a junior. Yikes. Keep in mind, I don't know anything.

Over on Gopherhole they had a list of Minnesota 2013 players that have been invited to the Gophers Junior Day. I have a feeling this kid is going FBS before it is all said and done. Most this kids we offer before the start of their senior season end up FBS. I sure hope I'm wrong because we could use a WR like this.
