If we could get some weight on Stacy, he could develop into quite a find. The kid is an excellent athlete and with his 6'8" frame and the extreme hops he would be a very tough matchup. However, it will take some time to get some muscle on that frame. Last time I stood by him he looked like a tall cross country runner. On a side note, if we could get him and Bryce Sheard, it would make for an interesting pair. They went 1-2 at the state track meet in the high jump at 6'10" and 6'9" respectively.

For comparison's sake. Ramses Barden of Cal Poly, and currently with the New York Giants, is listed at 6'6" and 224 Lbs.

Stacy also posted a time of 22.34 in the 200 last year. That is pretty fast considering his ability to get those legs going, as well as maneuver around that first turn. Won't find many guys with his stature move that fast.

With that kind of speed and leaping ability, there aren't many DB's that can match up with that ,especially in jump ball type situations in the end-zone.

It sounds like Kansas State had some legitimate interest in the twins.

Northern Iowa has Ty Soulek as a 6'5" 285 LB O-Lineman.

@TerryVandrovec: New SDSU verbal Kellen Soulek said he will play DT. UNI offered, too. Bro Ty will have to walk on because UNI would not grant release.

Stig says he is friends with Farley, but Farley may not be friends with Stig, especially if some of his roster wants to transfer from UNI to SDSU. None-the-less good to have the Soulek brothers on board. How long will the walk on status be in affect?

Wow! Getting those two is great. They are both good sized and athletic.

                        Color me shocked.

yes exactly that is why I am guessing this just happened at the end of the semester. I.e. over the weekend. Great for the jacks!

Wonder if they are any good at basketabll with good size and jumps.

My guess would be that they won't release Soulek now, as in at semester, I'm guessing he will be released before next season though, so they can have the scholarship. If I'm not mistaken USD did the same thing with Robbie Jelsma when he transferred to SDSU, they said they wouldn't release him, and then did before the beginning of the next season. Its nothing more then a power play move by the University without having to use the scholarship # on someone who isn't even at the school.

TV in his blog this morning said he will have to pay his own way for one year.
