Back to the jerseys, I do like that they only say STATE. I would prefer it to always be that way. Now, all we need to do is have Nike come up with a Nike Combat uniform for us with a flat finish camo helmet and we will be ready to take on all comers since they won't even see us coming. Say what you will, but the kids these days, they love that stuff.

For me personally, I do not care for making it a production to wear black uniforms for a night game, i.e., Georgia or Virginia Tech in recent years. I'm glad we have not strayed to that point.

How much money will you contribute towards the warm and fuzzy feelings that these guys get from new uniforms? Oh thats right you only have been out of school 3 years working at Walmart.

See, this is what I missabout football season. Anon posters who puff their chest out from behind a keyboard. Bring on Southern Utah! Some are already in mid-season form...

By the way, back on uniforms, isn't it too bad that Boise State can no longer wear their home blues on their blue field during conference games?

Thank goodness Boise cannot wear blue at home. I cannot watch their home games, I get a raging headache watching that field. It is time they step up, stop being a gimmick and bring back a green field. Too good of a team to be know for a stupid looking field.

Sounds like they're going to be wearing orange unis at home now since they can't wear the blue. That's going to be an even bigger headache than before!

Seriously, are you a 3rd grader? You don't like what he said, so you attack that he has been out of school for 3 years? The only thing that comes to mind is a quote from a cinematic masterpiece, Billy Madison:

Regarding uniforms: I think players care to the extent that they want to look good and feel comfortable on the field. Many fans care because it's fun to see your team looking good out there. I don't see anything wrong with either of those things.

I guess I want to keep the uniforms the same, blue tops yellow pants. I guess I like the tradition of seeing the same jersey year after year. changing uniforms to me is just a fad. Same reason why current students drop old traditions is because they want to be apart of the fad or trend. I know we are different levels but imagine if penn state decided to get helmet logos or change the uni style they wear? It just wouldnt be the same. we wore these unis going D1 so i think we should stick with um, but that is just one fans thoughts.

I wish it were bigger. If you're going to put something like that on the jersey, make it big enough to read without a magnifying glass.

And I like "STATE" on the jerseys as well as the MBB jerseys. It's not really confusing, as there are only two universities that I know of that are confident enough to simply refer to themselves as "STATE":

Michigan State and South Dakota State.

Point taken. And no ESPN color announcer will mistake us for the Spartans. One would hope.
