A little old school, but I think a nice hint to people would be Public Enemy and Anthrax "Bring the Noise!" It has the hip hops and the Heavy Metals.

I'm still thinking about an intro song for the Jackrabbits -- trying to come up with something from the early 70s. West River suggests Born to Be Wild...like that one but not sure the beat is right (sounds like I'm on American Bandstand's "rate a record"). Another poster pointed out how Iowa State uses Smoke on the Water...not bad.

I would not think highly of playing an intro song for the opposing the (but if it was NDSU, I'd be tempted to use something like Leslie Gore's It's Judy's Turn to Cry or Cindy Lauper's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Or, maybe a medley of BeeGee's stuff.) )

I liked Metallica's Enter the Sandman and this past season's Muse selection Uprising. I have no suggestions and I have new respect for those who are saddled with the job of putting together the intro video!
