I wonder what his relation is to 2010 SDSU recruit TE Nick Lee from Blue Earth.

6'5" 305 lbs and he believes one of his strengths is quickness. Combine those attributes with his strength and good technique getting the hands inside to control defensive linemen and you have a very good foundation to build on. With the huge offensive linemen they are developing, I could only imagine they are getting some DNA from that Green Giant that stands off to the south side of I-80 in Blue Earth.

I'm guessing you meant I-90, because I-80 runs through Iowa

Thanks for the info NewJack, it's good to have a football connection down in AZ with all the recruiting we've been doing down there.

I added the names to the recruiting list on page 1 of this thread.

No problem. I will keep and eye & ear open. Funny how when I see something that mentions SDSU how it jumps off the page at me now.

The RB Petrullo is a good prospect. Surprisingly he only has 2 offers, the other is from Navy. DE Arledge is a pretty good player has the body that will accept more weight and is pretty quick. Olson is pretty good along with York and Farnlof. All these guys are entertaining D-1 offers an at least 4 of them have Ivy league offers.

Are these familiar names to you and what are our chances? We could use another Danny Batten or two.

The RB Petrullo is a good prospect. Surprisingly he only has 2 offers, the other is from Navy. DE Arledge is a pretty good player has the body that will accept more weight and is pretty quick. I haven't seen anything about Bofferding but I did notice that SDSU has extended an offer to a RB from Lee's Summit, MO.

One MN kid not mentioned is RB Beau Bofferding of Marshall. Kid has gone to several camps this summer and has run 4.5 40 yd dash in front of some SDSU opponents and higher up. Not sure what his measurements are currently, but definitely someone the Jacks should look at. I know the Bison already are. Great track athlete as well running sub 50 400 meter races.

I hate losing quality recruits like this, but it softens it a bit when we lose them to quality programs like in the Big Ten. At least we have our sights set high!

Appears we are pretty far down the priority list even though we are the only school to offer.

Apparently this young man has options and if we get our offer out there early, it may pay off down the road once this young fellow has his fill of Harvard. With Harvard in the mix, it would appear this young fellow is classroom whiz.

I liked the story on the Ott kid. My football crew has officiated playoff games the last two years for them and I did not realize he still had another year to play. Two years ago he was overshadowed by their quarterback who broke many passing records in the state with their high powered offense. Ott's everything that the story builds him up to be.
