This is a very well written piece that demonstrates the intense rivalry, that's missing the hatred. Great to finally be getting an "upper" hand on the Bison after the 1975-1995 period.

Amazing what happens when both schools offer the same # of schollies.

One correction, its jackrabbit blue and yellow, its not gold.

If we are going to get technical...it's actually yellow and blue. You know, like the song.

Yeah, but go big go blue go jacks. But your correct its yellow and blue for the song, not gold and blue.

I just meant our colors are blue and yellow.

Yup, Yellow and Blue and while I am on my soap box, Hobo Week leads to Hobo Day. There is no such thing as Hobo Days.

It's a great day to be a Jackrabbit!

Did I read this thread before? I'm experiencing deja vu.

Doesn't it take days to make up a week?

Here is how I look at it.

HOBO DAY is for the alumni and football team. 89Rabbit would be right to defend that.

HOBO DAYS is for the students and all of the extra stuff that goes on from SUNDAY to SUNDAY. UPC, GREEK LIFE, and UNION staff do a great job of NOT making it a one day event, but a week long celebration of HOBO DAY, hence HOBO DAYS.

You could argue that but you would be wrong. I agree there is a weeks worth of activity that the student groups you talk about put on, this is nothing new. Those groups have been doing it for many decades. It has been and is called Hobo Week. Hobo Days is just wrong. It is like saying ain't. Ain't isn't a word.
