    Yeah, but Sumner would have to win EVERY game for us to even have a shot at the playoffs this year...which isn't likely with a new QB...so why bother wasting his redshirt.

      The issue is right now, he has zero confidence in his abilities either. He expects to miss, and is surprised when he connects.

        The bad news is that the team is playing terrible.

        The good news is that this may be the game that Steve throws Tyler out the booth window.

            I was just asking... wasn't saying it is what the coaches should or will consider doing. I am just really frustrated right now. I feel like this team turned a corner last week and then this week are PIDTL and taking two steps back... Positive... we are only down 7, we can still win this.

            another positive, confidence can be rebuilt with one great drive...

            Just need to find the uhmpa to do it.

                      When we get opportunities on offense to score , we have to, we don't have a potent offensive machine it seems.We have to get simple, block & run....grind it out 3-4 yards at a time.Can't fault Minnett,he's only bright spot,so they key on him.TOB makes one good pass to about two that aren't good.He needs more consistency.

                          The staff needs to run plays that will help build his confidence. The playcalling is just abysmal. It is hard for the players to figure it out when the coaches are clueless.

                            they do run plays for him to build his confidence, five yards slants and outs but he throws a rocket at them and they either miss it or it is overthrown or underthrown

                              Didn't we hire a "passing game" coordinator this year with a lot of offensive experience? How about we take the play calling away from Meadows and give EE a try?

                                He is stepping on Steve before and during the play. He needs to take off his play-by-play hat and put on his color guy hat.
