I'm hoping for a Georgia Southern like turnaround in the second half. The GSU game I am referring to is the last time SDSU traveled there and came out awful in the first half, but settled down in the second half and should have won the game (lost on an interception, then a 50 yard field goal).

Seem to come out very flat when we travel halfway across the country, maybe we need upgrades in the hotels we're staying in...

I don't know if I could be more disappointed. Our lines are getting there asses kicked. Absolutely no pressure on Devlin at all. Oline has no push and are flat getting stoned or run the f^%$ over. I'll stop writing for now....

It's not over. Take away those two big mistakes by O'Brien, and Delaware hasn't exactly run away from us. We'll play a lot better in the second half, and with a couple of breaks, could put ourselves in a position to win.

That said, I was worried about this game. It seems like lousy scheduling to me. Sure we want to play good teams in our OOC schedule. But flying across the country for our first game against a solid CAA program seems like a bad idea.

When you consider how the FCS system works now — get to seven D1 wins and you're probably in the playoffs — this kind of game isn't what you want to start your season. We already have a brutal road schedule in the MVFC.

If we lose this one, it means we basically have to win our way into the playoffs on the road, and against the best programs in the MVFC. It's a big gamble. We win this game, and we're in great shape. Lose it and we're not out, but we have made the road to the playoffs a lot tougher.

20-0 and the score is misleading. We are getting beat worse than that.

EP, I completely agree. If you can feel good about being down by 20 at the half this would be it. We are getting completely out played in this game.

Need a good start in the second half.

On the video, Cochart was bumped pretty solidly by the umpire right before the ball arrived. Just enough contact to move him off his line. The pass by O'Brien wasn't that bad. But it doesn't help when you contact the umpire right before the ball arrives.

Wow, USD is still leading, and Kansas, which couldn't score but three points against NDSU, has 28 today and is handling No. 15 Georgia Tech so far.

Gophers score and 'Yotes are up 33-30. They got the ball on a turnover that, honestly, appeared to be a gift from the officials. The play was a bit of a debacle. About 10 minutes left in that one.
