Roy Griak Invitational

On Saturday, September 26, the men and women Cross Country runners will compete at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the U of MN. It's a fabulous meet with some of the best competition in the country.

We're going in to watch the Jacks continue to improve as a team against the best (just as fans...no kids competing!).

Re: Roy Griak Invitational

The 2009 Roy Griak Invitational field was about half what it had been in prior years, perhaps due to many schools electing to run next weekend in a big (Nike sponsored) meet in Oregon.

The Jackrabbit women were led once again by Ashley Storm with an impressive 22nd-place finish. The team was 10th out of 17 teams in the DI race.

The men were paced by Greg Vollmer who finished 56th. The men finished 14th out of 18 teams.

Iowa State won both Men's and Women's races.

Another conference POW...way to go Greg! Track/cross country fans will get a chance to see the Jacks CC team on Saturday, along with some great talent from other schools...get out to the SDSU CC Classic! Men run at 10:30 a.m. and women follow at 11:15 a.m.
