The Jackrabbit cross country team will run at the Drews/Neubauer Invitational at the U of Wisconsin-Lacrosse, Saturday. The men run 8K starting at 10:30 and the women run 6K starting at 11:30. The meet is typically are large one with schools ranging from NAIA standouts all the way to Big 10 teams. The Wisconsin Badgers, one of the strongest programs year after year, and the Minnesota Gophers, highly ranked again this year, have it on their schedules. There are competing meets on the same date so sometimes you do not find out who is running until the day of the meet.

The Jackrabbit women won the meet!
The Jackrabbit men, still missing runners due to injuries, ran well and finished 7th.

The women ran very well as a team. They had 5 in the top 25, out of 444 total runners.
It was a beautiful morning in LaCrosse. The trees were spectacular!Comment
