SDSU freshman hurdler Kristin Barrios was named Summit League Athlete of the Week on 5/13/08. Kristin has the fastest time in the conference in the 100m hurdles going into the Summit League Conference Meet this Friday and Saturday in Macomb.

The headline states: "SUU's Lewis, SDSU's Barrios Garner Weekley Honors" and at first glance, I thought two SDSU athletes won the award: Kristin Barrios and Brittany Garner.
Garner is one of the top sprinters going into the Summit League Meet.
Finally, there will be some decent weather for the track meet at Macomb: partly cloudy Friday and Saturday with temps in the low to mid 70s. It's a long drive but I'll be making it!
