The indoor track and field seson kicks into full swing today at 4pm as we travel south to Lincoln, Nebraska for the Hoilday Invite. This will be one of three trips to lincoln for the team this indoor season. GO JACKS, BURN UP THE TRACK!

LINCOLN, Neb. – Heather Wollman recorded a pair of top-five finishes in the sprints Saturday to lead the South Dakota State University women’s indoor track and field team on the final day of competition at the Holiday Inn Invitational.
Wollman leads SDSU on second day at Nebraska
Wollman, a sophomore from Bridgewater, placed third in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.83 seconds, and also finished fifth in the 200 meters, clocking a time of 25.28 seconds. Cameryn Christion took sixth in the 200, 25.36 seconds, and Brittany Garner placed sixth in the 60 meters for the Jackrabbits in 7.90 seconds.
Christion and Garner also were part of SDSU’s 4x400-meter relay that placed fourth. They teamed with Megan Lauseng and Kristen Barrios for a time of 3:54.61.
In the field events, Ashley Lange turned in the top finish with a sixth-place effort in the triple jump. A sophomore from Sioux Falls, Lange leaped 35 feet, 11.5 inches, while Tamiko Kopfman added a ninth-place mark of 35-0.25.
Sara Ackman added a ninth-place throw of 42-9.5 in the shot put, with Jenni Mack placing 11th with a toss of 39-11.25.
