Jared jumped 25' 3.5" to place 10th in the prelims out of 48 competitors. The top 12 move to the finals competition at Drake, June 6-9. Congrats Jared!!!

Clive Chafausipo of Oral Roberts is in 2nd place with a jump of 26' 5.5". The leader, Raymond Higgs from Arkansas, jumped 27' on his first attempt and passed on all other attempts.

Jared competed in the West preliminaries and there is another east division that is being held in Jacksonville, FL.

? Has Jared "out-jumped" Clive from ORU this year or has he consistently been behind him? Just a question.

Vlastuin just placed 18th at the Nationals... just two places out of getting All-American honors.

Job well done...he's had longer jumps but nonetheless, a great showing.
