Hello everybody, in this thread I will post predictions, articles, and anything else that I find relevant to the Summit League Indoor Meet.

Hey, thanks for posting these. I've enjoyed reading them.

A couple questions: The guy that won 'male field athlete of the year', how can they award that before the outdoor season?

Also, how much of a factor were the variously missing men (guards, strategic red shirt, etc.) in the indoor championships?

They award the same award for outdoors. They really should clarify that.

I'll give a guesstimated point total for the guys missing:
Luke Leischner: 15
Jared Ailts: 5
Gavin Cordell: 6
Ryan Schaefer: 2

We also did have a couple of distance runners get sick the week of conference and didn't score when they otherwise would have. But, I'm sure every team can find some points that they could have scored everywhere. To be honest, we didn't perform up to our capabilities. Obviously the meet wasn't a total failure because we won a lot of events and took home the Field Athletes of the Year awards but it wasn't up to our potential by any means.
