Brittany Garner second in Pole Vault.
Ketty Corneman, fifth in javelin.
Brooke Garner won the hammer throw followed by Jenn Mack, third, Michelle Schuch, fourth

Men
Jake Brinkman, fourth; Sean Burns, fifth; Ryan Ackman, eighth
Arran Davis, 2nd in javelin

SDSU's Jared Vlastuin of Lennox wins the men's long jump at the Summit League outdoor meet, defending his title.

SDSU freshman and Lincoln High grad Mary Wirth wins the high jump at the Summit League outdoor meet. Also, it's freezing.

Congrats to these athletes and coaches, and specifically David St. John, assistant coach. I believe Dave's time is primarily focused on the jumpers, and it appears the jumpers had a great event. Dave is a friend of mine, and an all around good guy. Good work Dave!

SDSU's Brooke Garner wins the women's discus at the Summit League outdoor meet. She also won the hammer. Jacks placed four.

SDSU's Ashley Lange wins the triple jump at the Summit League outdoor track meet, one of three Jacks to place.

Or more or fewer participants awarded points?

I thought I read some place that they scored 8 places.

Unofficially, the NDSU women win a fourth straight Summit League outdoor track title. Southern Utah is second and host SDSU third.
