Outdoor Season is Here!

Some of the Jacks Track team will be opening their outdoor season this weekend. About 20 (men and women combined) will be traveling to Arizona State. This group will consist mostly of jumpers, sprinters, and throwers. Some others may be competing at Dakota State although that looks unlikely due to weather.

Next weekend includes meets at Missouri and Arkansas!

Remember, the Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championships are hosted by SDSU at the University of Sioux Falls in May!

Got it on the calendar!! As Rod said on Jackrabbit Insider...there will be a lot of good athletes there from around the conference. Should be a great meet!

Southern Utah has one of the best Track and Field Athletes in the nation; distance runner Cam Levins. He won't be running at this weekend's meet but the Jacks will see him many times this year. He currently has the nations top time in the 5k by about 30 seconds. He also was the Canadian National Champion in Cross Country and placed 58th in the World at Cross Country.
