It ended up 19-7...but don't despair. Centenary threw their top pitcher at us (probably the best one in the league) and he tossed a no-hitter, shutout until the bottom of the fourth, when we started to get to him. Ended up pushing him out in the sixth, with one down, as we scored 5 runs in the sixth. They crucified our first two pitchers, but Austin Busse stopped the bleeding and Trevor Vermuelen got them 1-2-3 in the seventh. I think we have an outside chance to go 3-1 and a good chance to at least earn a split. Go JACKS!

Gents have a big inning in the fifth, and lead the series 2-1 in winning the second game of the doubleheader 8-3. Bats went cold in this one for the Jacks. Now, we just need to get on them Sunday and get the split!

Wish I could have been at the game. Windy today but at least a little warmer. Planned to go yesterday, stopped by about 1 pm, kids didn't want to get out of the van so I just watched a little bit. Campus kind of looks like a war zone with all the construction going on.
