Ugly finish to a promising start this weekend. For the most part the pitching did well but the bats went cold the last two games. I expect the boys will consider this trip to be a failure. The call home tonight will most likely be a little subdued.
Our road warriors will need to get home for a couple of days to recharge the batteries and get ready to take on the toughest, and thankfully, the last long road trip of the regular season.
6 and 2 is a pretty darn good start after two conference weekends.Comment
