Re: Gophers again
The win last night was a very impressive one. It was a well played, well pitched low scoring game and it's good to see the Jacks win one in that fashion. Jarrod Koch's performance was ver encouraging for what he may be able to contribute the rest of the season. Adding another quality pitcher to the mix bodes well for the rest of the conference run.Comment

Re: Gophers again
Reading a lot about these guys I think it's time to see them in person. I for one will be going to a game this year. Looking forward to seeing these guys play!Comment

Re: Gophers again
I know there was one Gopher dad who probably got a kick out of the game. Luke Rasmussen, a lefty from Northfield pitched 1 and 2/3rds innings against his dad's Jackrabbits. Mitch Rasmussen is a civil engineer graduate from the 80's, but he never played ball for the Rabbits. I'm guessing he just had a good time watching the Jacks take it to the Gophers.Comment

Re: Gophers again
I don't know about that. You know the old phrase about blood being thicker than water. If SDSU ever plays my alma mater while my son is playing I will most assuredly be rooting for the Jackrabbits.Comment

Re: Gophers again
Interesting tidbit from the article by TV:
SDSU is 20-11, leading all of NCAA Division I in road wins (19).
In baseball......
It's a great day to be a Jackrabbit! If local to Brookings, get out and back the Jacks at the ERV today!Comment
