Hanigan leads off the 9th with a base hit.

Fisher lifts a flyball to the warning track in left. Hanigan back to 1st. 1 gone 1 on.

Hanigan gets nailed trying to steal 2nd. 2 out.

Next pitch Perry bounces a double off the wall...would've been nice to have Hanigan on right then. Hindsight is 20/20.

Martin grounds out to 2nd. We go to the bottom half of the 9th tied at 8.

Morar flys one to shallow center, caught for out #2.

Ayala to the plate. One hops it back up the middle for out 3.

Jacks strand the leadoff hitter at 1st.

We are not prepared for a long game like this...only brought 5 pitchers Tyler is saying....gonna see some long relieve innings by our guys tonight.

Morching has sent down 7 in a row. Now 8 in a row on a strikeout by the leadoff.

Ayala fields a grounder for a quick 2nd out.

Morsching gets ahead of the count 0-2 and he hits the batter...the 4th Creighton batter hit today.

Soto comes up batting 3-5 so far today and grounds out to 2nd.

Into the 11th we go.

Man, I hate to update for the whole game then ditch in extra innings, but I may have to if this goes to long.

Tyler says we can't play a night game at Creighton...the lights are not NCAA approved or something to that effect. So if this goes to long, the game will get called.....

Hanigan bloops a double down the right field line and the Jackrabbits are threatening.

Fisher comes up to bat, takes a couple, fouls a couple and takes the 2-2 pitch on the knee, check that, ankle and hobbles to 1st.

2 on and 1 out for the Rabbits, Perry up to bat and he strikes out on a 1-2 pitch. 12th Jackrabbit strikeout of the game.

Martin to bat. 2 balls 2 strikes we need a base hit...Marting grounds out and the Jacks first base coach Jake Angier gets ejected on the play. Tyler says it looked like Martin beat the throw.

Game time 3hr 10 min and counting.

Morsching did well in relief, 3 1/3 pitched, only 1 hit, 2 k's, 1 hit batter, the only hit happened to be the walkoff homer.

I totalling respect Tylers opinion on the play at first base. If he says he feels Martin beat the throw that is a powerfull statement coming from Tyler. He rarely comments on close plays that do not go in favor of the Jacks. Not just in baseball but other sports as well. Tough, tough loss for the Jacks. To battle back after the poor start speaks volumes for Coach C's team. Lot of season left to play. I just hope some of the games will be in Brookings. Sounds like another snow storm on the way.

I think the season will start to turnaround from this point forward. The team's made it through the tough chunk of their schedule and I think that will payoff as they move into the conference games. Hopefully the weather cooperates and the boys start to put a winning streak together. This team is definitely a better team than what their record is showing right now.
