That's two times now this year (that I'm aware of) that our runner has been called out after an appeal. Pretty unusual to see such a rare call within the first two weeks of the season.

Sounded like a makeup call. The announcers made it sound like our guy at second clearly left early, but when they appealed there, the ump must have missed it. But the up at third had his back.

And game 2 is officially ugly. 7-1 after back-to-back jacks by the piggies in the bottom of the 2nd. Jacks outscored 20-2 in 11 innings so far today.
