Opening series for baseball called off
The South Dakota State-Kansas baseball series scheduled for Friday through Sunday in Lawrence, Kan., has been canceled due to continued cold weather and poor field conditions.
SDSU is now scheduled to open the season Feb. 16-18 with a three-game series at Sacramento State (Calif.).
Changes to the Jackrabbits' schedule to replace the three games at Kansas will be announced at a later date.
