Weekend #2 is Here!

The Jackrabbit Baseball Team heads to Florida this weekend for four games against Florida International and Northeastern. Coach Bishop said this week these two teams are better than Tennessee Martin. Let’s see how the young players fair this weekend in Florida. A winning weekend starts today. If I could figure out how to add I photo I would but I can’t seem to get it to work. Highs in the mid 80’s all weekend.

It must difficult to field the ball in 80 degree weather....

11 errors in 4 games this weekend equals a 1-3 weekend. The team made 10 errors in the two games vs. Northeastern. The highlight of the weekend was Tyler OhmsteadÂ’s pitching effort on Saturday vs. Fla. International. Tyler went 6 innings, striking out 9.

Off to Arkansas next weekend. Three games against Central Arkansas and one game vs. Missouri.
