I wonder if the Jackrabbits ever recruited Jake Adams, the Brandon kid who turned into a home run hitter in college and was drafted in the sixth round by Baltimore. Adams said in a news interview that he'd planned to attend UND, but the Fighting Hawks dropped baseball. So he headed to a juco in Des Moines for a couple years and then to Iowa. He led the NCAA this year with 29 homers.
