Birdcage Not Ready... What the h-e-double hockey sticks!

Anyone have any insight on how The Birdcage is NOT ready to host the Rabbits and Blue Jays next Wednesday night. Did they make field improvements at The Cage or is it just a lousy job by the staff In field preparation. I can't understand how a baseball field can't be ready when we haven't really had any rain or snow the entire month of April. I just don't get it........

I guess I need to make a decision if I'm going to drive to Sioux City or not now. Little bummed.....
