    Jacks follow up rout of Mt. Marty with a rout of the gophers today at Erv Heuther field. 13-4 Rabbits. Air Force comes to town for single games Fri.,Sat, and Sun.

        It certainly is amazing how being able to practice and play on their home field has allowed this team to get hot. Hopefully they keep the momentum going this weekend. Time to start climbing towards that peak.

          Keep in mind that is was Mt. Marty and that Minnesota was saving their top pitching for Nebraska.

            Below is the list of pitchers the Jacks used yesterday. Shannon got the first start of his career. All did a nice job but it is a midweek game for the Jacks too so who Minnesota was "saving" for Nebraska is irrelevant.

            Tyler Shannon
            Joe Erickson
            Blake Fiedelman

            Aaron Klatt
            Andrew Clemen
            Derringer Huff

              76Rabbit is right on track. Think of it this way...we used a whole string of 2nd and 3rd string pitchers, and the Gophers only got 4 runs out of the game. Not disparaging our pitchers...in fact, pointing out how well they did!!
