It's nice to see us putting the boys putting the ball over the fence so far, small ball is nice and can be done consistently, but during the regionals last year we killed ourselves with our inability to put a ball in the gap or over the fence. Hopefully they can keep it up.Comment

Little side note to the early season. This team is fielding at a .983 percentage through eight games. That is 20-30 points higher than the previous two seasons. Defense wins - especially in this day and age of college baseball.
