Caleb Thielbar is playing for the Ft. Myers Miracle in the Class A Advanced Florida State League. Two innings pitched, no hits, no walks, one K.

Saw him before he took off for spring training and the kid looked very good. Told me that he went all out over winter and hopefully it will transition into a great season.

*I also found out that former Jackrabbit catcher/leftfielder/3-bagger Craig Parry is now coaching at Miles City Community College in Miles City, Montana.

I noticed too that Blake Trienen made his first start for the Stockton Ports (Advanced A) and picked up the W.

6.1 IP, 8 H, 2 ER, 4 SO, 0 BB

Caleb threw 3 innings allowed o runs on 1 hit with 4 strike outs last night.

Caleb pitched again last night and took the loss, he pitched 1 1/3 innings gave up only an unearned run on 1 hit, 1 walk and 3 strike outs.

I don't think we need to be calling him "Caleb" anymore...I think he is starting to earn the name "The Kid."

Very good game tonight for Caleb as he gets the win after pitching 3 hitless innings allowing only 1 walk and striking out 6!

Caleb got his 1st action tonight in AA New Britain in extra innings. He got the last out to get the save. 1/3 IP and only 1 walk.
