I know this team lost alot of talent last season but 3rd. We'll have to see how it plays out but this group has plenty of talent coming back a desire to take that final step. Just like hoops. Qualify for the postseason tournament and get hot for a weekend. Go Rabbits!

The third place ranking was very close behing Western Ill. The Jacks did lose our #1 starter and our all time leading closer. Pick'm where ever they want you have to prove it on the field. The Jacks have a ton of talent and some pitching depth. It will be interesting just who steps up to be our closer this year.

As is always usually the case, pitching is a key. Liked what I saw in the fall World Series from several new pitchers, and the return of Layne Somsen will be extremely helpful. While I'm still wrapped up in basketball, getting excited about the coming baseball season. Will get a chance to see this team play when I head down to Little Rock for a few early games. I'm quite sure we have the talent to continue to be a good hitting and fielding team. GO JACKS!!
