  • Possible New Head Coaches

With Ritchie gone, does anybody have any suggestions for a new coach?

I had mentioned former SDSU GA and current NDSU assistant Jake Angier in a previous thread.

I also noticed that former Jack baseball player Billy McMacken had recommended Quincey Noble on his twitter feed.

Noble was a former Jack and was the head coach at Pacific University.

Does anybody else have any suggestions?

Another name to add to the list of possibilities would be current assistant Jason Laws

I certainly hope that at this point in the developement of our baseball program we can attract someone with more experience than Jason for our head coaching position. Keep in mind that we are actually looking for 2 coaches......head coach and assistant.

Matt Magers, current head coach at Minnesota State, Mankato and Jackrabbit alum, could also be a potential candidate

Quincy Noble is a great guy and was one of my coaches in little league. I don't know much about his credentials now but I am certain he is a great role model. Not sure if he has the interest or the connections to interview but I hope he does.

I do know that he has made an appearance on this forum in the past.....

I'd like to see current St. Cloud State and former Dakota State University head coach Pat Dolan put his name into the hat. I know that he's in his dream job at St. Cloud State, but if the situation in the Minnesota schools are as dire as we've read, I wonder how apt the school would be to keep baseball.
