Re: Iowa
Jacks score three in top of 14th for the win. Eric Cain with a big day going 4 for 6 with 3 RBI. Big double in top of 14th to drive in the winning runs. Kind of that signature win the Jacks have been looking for. Good win Jacks and lets getting another tomorrow.

Re: Iowa
Thanks for that link, JimmyJack.
If there are any doubters still out there who question the move to D-I, read the article and think about the tone set by the writer. Just a few years ago such an article would have included references that would range from making fun of a smaller school to pointing out the team was new to D-I. The days of sportwriters suggesting "they just got electricity in South Dakota" are gone. Also gone: the days of opponents not expecting much from the Jackrabbits.
Good job, baseball team! Way to battle for 14 innings and get the W!

Re: Iowa
I have not seen a Jackrabbit game in person in years, but this looks like a season to do it. This team is led by a very strong group of seniors. Of the nine seniors, four look to rewrite many long time records. While it was fun to watch player like Dave Lane, Billy Mac, and Greg Geary set some of those records that could or have fallen, this group of seniors could be the best baseball class in the history of Jackrabbit baseball.
So if you have ever thought about getting out to see them play, bring your kid or your friend and enjoy the ride!
