Good to see a tournament without the big-time schools since the NCAA-run NIT seems to be the haven for every "big-time" school that finishes above .500 and does not go dancing.

Kent state is hot right now only losing a few close games lately. They also want to keep their 20 win season streak alive.

Will be a good comparison of a top tier MAC vs Summit

Akron (MAC) is a 13 seed and NDSU is a 14.

Yeah, I was rooting for them because they are conference mates but I had to kind of chuckle. All I could think of is Kampe and what he must have been like after the game. He probably blew a gasket!

They are going to be laoded next year.
