Jill Zaruba, NDSU is likely to NOT play, leaving Bison with only 6 schollie players. They will have a rough time making it out of round 1. However, they have shown GREAT ability to win, even in tough road trips. The Bison have performed very well for the limited roster they have.

Boy, what a year. This really should make us appreciate this year even more.

I think DeHoff, the NDSU coach, has done a nice job getting seven players ready to compete in each game. How the heck she's going to get six players ready to come out for a second half will be interesting. They're going to be worn down.

Probably more than any team in the conference, we needed that 2-seed. Even if we win on Sunday, the tank will be empty for Monday's game. A day of rest would have been a huge help.

Men:
Southern Utah @ North Dakota State 6 p.m.

My picks (which mean nothing since I don't think I can pick up 3 games with 6 to play) are made in an effort to come back and win this contest:

Now if I wasn't so far out of it, I would have picked Oakland over the Bison women. Down to 6 players, just don't see how they could do it again, but would be a heck of a story and I didn't think they had the depth to get the win in the first game.

NDSU men should have no problem winning, but I don't think anyone else is going to pick them to lose so this is about the only way I can pick up a lot of ground. I picked against SDSU and lost a lot of ground in the first round, but they won, so I am picking against them again.

Holy smokes, I just went back and looked at my picks. If I hadn't tried to make up ground I would have been 2 games back with 2 to play. (Of course that means I would have had to have the women lose to get a tie, so I am fine with the way it has worked out.)
