Oral Roberts is dropping the hammer on Nebraska in an elimination game in the Lincoln regional. 7-0 ORU and no-hitting the Huskers through 6. The announcers mentioned that the ORU pitcher who is throwing the gem struggled against the Jacks. Just guessing that he may have started the game in Brookings that the Jacks took from ORU.

ORU beat NE 8-0. They play UC Irvine tonight at 8 ET. They have to beat Irvine twice to advance to the super regional.

The good news is ORU is starting their No. 1 pitcher. He started Friday's game, but couldn't find the plate and only lasted 30 pitches. At least he should give them a fighting chance to push it to a final game and ORU only had to dip into their bullpen for 2/3 inning against NU.
