Starting looking for the story on his firing and this came up. Probably some AI BS that would have made me mad at Hendo had I searched for him but this puff piece reignited my diabetes. Fits the ORU mystique perfectly. Only went to one game there, 3000 people although I only saw 300, must have been 2699 angels and that escaped eagle from the St Louis raptor place in attendance. I kinda wish they'd leave the Summit. I'd trade them for Augie any day and I still hate Augie from the early sixties carrot throws.

from my perspective what you have for Augie is a mild dislike, definitely not hatred

I would rather volunteer to have every student enrolled at Augie throw a frozen rabbit at my scrotum than be in a conference with both them and usd again.


what is the big annoyance with ORU? the MBB HC before Springman was a whiney brat, but I cannot think of a lot other than that. oh and yes they do fib / fudge the attendance numbers for their home games, but that seems to be basically SOP for the majority of the schools in the Summit and i would guess in many to all the other conferences as well
