Reflects poorly on the coach, I don't think AJ has ever had a team show poor effort in a postseason.

Sounds like ORU didn't give a F and mailed it in.

Edit: maybe not, just guessing. But not a great look for the Summit League

ORU down 25 to Missouri State at the half. Musick's name brought up with Arkansas gig

my favorite twitter coach had a take on this one, too. There's something like 4 MVC teams in the WBIT, and I assume all 6 or 7 of those #1 seed non power who lost in conference play like UNLV, JMU, etc. The games will be good (hopefully) with some of the better mid-majors going against some those outside the bubble power teams. As an example, Arizona State (19-13 NET 58) is set to play NAU (25-7 NET 94). Wish this one was at NAU, but ASU is hosting. Looks like it's a 2 hour drive

The WBIT has a bunch of power conference teams, the WNIT has Rutgers (11-19). On paper, there’s no doubt which would be cooler to win.

    Final standings vs preseason poll
    1. SDSU (1)
    2. ORU (2)
    3. NDSU (3)
    4. STU (5)
    5. UND (7)
    6. UMKC (8)
    7. USD (4)
    8. Omaha(9)
    9. Denver(6)
The tied records went to seeding for SLT. Outside of the yotes, the order was close to preseason.

Denver WBB is the last women's team to get a win. The Denver men are still without a W in conference.

All the women's games are today on Wednesday. The top 3 teams(ORU, NDSU & SDSU) are on the road. Omaha visits Denver. Is it possible that all the road teams win on the Wednesday that all the games are on Wednesday? It is definitely a change from the mirror schedule.

St Thomas moves into the win column defeating Omaha on the road.
NDSU goes 0-6FG in the 4th quarter. They were 4-4 from the free throw line in the 4th. The bison turn the ball over 25 times in the loss to KC in KC.
Denver remains winless losing to ORU.

There are not too many surprises through the first quarter of the conference play. The yotes are showing some surge with the play of Larkins scoring. NDSU took care of ORU in Fargo to remain undefeated. Road losses appear to have a large impact for the women as the Jackrabbits are the only team with a winning record(including OOC) this far into the season. It looks like SDSU, NDSU, ORU, & USD will be the top half of the conference with the odds of winning most of the road wins. The bottom 5 will fight to stay out of 8/9 SLT seed game.
